Welcome to Wills Collections

I am delighted you have chosen to visit our website. We dearly hope you will find something that you have been looking for or that gets your attention.

It was around ten years ago that I began to really notice that the coins in my pocket were not all the same designs. This initially was sparked by the introduction of the Olympic 50p coins that were produced to celebrate the 2012 Olympic Games in London.

It occurred to me that there was an incredible amount of skill and creativity that went into these coins. When you get a coin in your hand that is in top class condition it is like holding a little work of art. If you look at the recent edition of the Great Engravers series released by the Royal Mint they are exquisite.

I began to see coins that were being introduced into circulation to commemorate people and events in our recent history, such as the 100th Anniversary of WW1 which was followed by literary giants like Beatrix Potter and her stories of Peter Rabbit and friends.

From here I began to wonder about how I might develop my new interest in numismatics (the collection of coins) during my retirement and when Covid arrived on our shores I was furloughed for four months which gave me the time to explore and develop ideas on how to take my coin collecting forward.

I was living in the North East of England at the time but decided that in my retirement I would try and find somewhere on the coast. After some searching - and also finding my partner - I moved to a little place called Buckie on the shores of the Moray Firth in the North East of Scotland and it is from there I run what has now become an e-commerce enterprise, Wills Collections.

I am aware that for this enterprise to succeed our customers need to have confidence in the products and services we provide. I am 100% committed to ensuring that we fulfil your expectations. If this is not the case then email me at enquiries@willscollections.com and I promise to respond within 48 hours.
